Alex Weiss, LMT

Alex is a skilled licensed massage therapist who has many tools to treat your pain, tension, and stress. She utilizes a variety of modalities and techniques, including Swedish massage, myofascial release, manual lymphatic drainage, intraoral TMJ massage, hot towels, and cold stone therapy. Her favorite conditions to work on include TMJ disorders, migraine disorders, tension headaches, and cervicalgia, and she enjoys focusing on the scalp, neck, face, jaw, and shoulders. Alex believes that massage therapy doesn't have to be painful to be effective! Instead, she uses slow, intentional movements, gentle stretching, and breathing techniques to fully relax every client.

Alex offers a range of services including therapeutic massage treatments, manual lymphatic drainage, and signature treatments that are sure to completely relax you. With focused attention, skillful hands, and an encouraging attitude, she hopes to assist you in all of your massage-related goals.

Outside of her passion for massage therapy, Alex is a full-time student due to graduate with her Bachelor's degree in December. When she is not busy with massage and school, she watches her nieces and nephews, walks around the neighborhood, and works on her home-cooking skills.

Massage for Veterans

Alex is contracted with the VA to support veterans with massage therapy. How it works:

A VA patient can request a referral from their physician. When they get that referral, the VA’s community care team will call them and ask if the patient has a preference for providers, among other questions. They can specify Alexandria Weiss, LMT and the VA will send Alex their referral from there. Alex will then contact them to set up their first appointment. The VA will cover their services completely if they have that referral.

They generally refer for a series of 12 massages.
